Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” concluded with a grand ceremony at the Palace of the Republic, attended by around 3000 guests. The Pakistani film “Nayab,” directed by Umair Nasir Ali, was honored with the Special Award of the Judges.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus received the award and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the festival organizers for the opportunity to showcase Pakistani films, including “Nayab.” In his speech, he highlighted the strength and resilience of the main character in the film, who symbolizes the determination of women pursuing their dreams despite significant challenges.

“Nayab” has captivated audiences with its compelling narrative and outstanding performances, making this recognition at the prestigious festival a significant achievement for Pakistani cinema. Last year, the Pakistani film “Kamli” secured three best awards at this renowned festival.
