New Madinah governor commences tenure with solemn prayer at Prophet's Mosque

Madinah, The Gulf Observer: On Sunday, the recently appointed governor of the Madinah region made his inaugural arrival in the sacred city, marking the commencement of his official responsibilities. Prior to assuming his duties, he reverently participated in a prayer session held within the revered precincts of the Prophet’s Mosque. This solemn act underscored his deep respect for the spiritual significance and historical resonance of the site, affirming his commitment to the region and its revered traditions as he embarks upon his governance tenure.

Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz was appointed the governor of Madinah by royal decree earlier this month.

The governor expressed his gratitude at being appointed to his new post and prayed that he would be able to serve the region.
