Oman and Iran Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, held a meeting today with Dr. Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation between Oman and Iran and explored ways to enhance ties across various fields to serve their mutual interests. They also exchanged views on several issues of mutual concern.

The discussions were attended by Dr. Sheikh Sulaiman Saud Al Jabri, Head of the Legal Department; Sayyid Najib Hilal Al Busaidi, Deputy Head of the GCC and Regional Neighborhood Department; and Ali Najafi, Ambassador of Iran to Oman.

The meeting reflects the commitment of both nations to fostering collaboration and addressing shared regional and international challenges.
