Oman and Malaysia Explore Enhanced Cooperation in Heritage and Tourism
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Oman’s Minister of Heritage and Tourism, held a meeting today with Dato’ Sri Tiong Keng Seng, Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, who is currently on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of heritage and tourism. Both ministers emphasized the importance of promoting the exchange of tourists between Oman and Malaysia, increasing the number of direct flights, and expanding joint training programs in the tourism sector.
The meeting, which took place in Muscat, was attended by several officials from both sides, underscoring the commitment of both nations to deepen their collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
