Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to secure a sustainable ceasefire between the United States and Iran are continuing, officials said.

According to details, Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran, where he conveyed a special message from Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and delivered a letter from Field Marshal Asim Munir addressed to Iran’s Supreme Leader.

During the meeting, both sides discussed regional developments and matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on efforts to reduce tensions and promote stability in the wider region.

Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also held a separate meeting with Iran’s Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, during which bilateral relations and the overall regional situation were reviewed in detail.

Pakistan reiterated that sustained diplomatic engagement and dialogue among all stakeholders is essential for peace and stability in the region, emphasizing that escalation can only be avoided through continued communication and constructive diplomacy.
