Paris to hold exhibition "Abu Rayhan Beruni Geographic and Intellectual Journeys"

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: From 4 to 8 September 2023, the exhibition “Abu Raykhan Beruni. Geographic and Intellectual Journeys” will be held in the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris, France. The project is dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding scientist and thinker.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn more about the life and scientific work of Abu Raykhan Beruni through the visual part of the scenography and multimedia installations, as well as copies of manuscripts presented in the exhibition.

As part of the opening of the exhibition, a concert of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the direction of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov will take place. The international audience will be presented with the world premiere of Zij – Music of Constellations by Dmitry Yanov-Yanovsky.

The exhibition is organized by the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.
