Uzbekistan Concludes WTT Youth Contender Tashkent 2025 with Strong Home Performances

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The international table tennis tournament WTT Youth Contender Tashkent 2025 concluded in the capital of Uzbekistan with the crowning of winners in the U19 and U15 age categories. The event highlighted the impressive performance of Uzbek athletes on home soil.
In the U19 girls’ final, the spotlight was on an all-Uzbek showdown between Asel Erkeboyeva and Arujan Kamolova. In a highly anticipated match, Kamolova triumphed with a 3:1 victory, securing the championship title, while Erkeboyeva earned a commendable silver medal.
Among the U19 boys, Diyorbek Dilshodov added to Uzbekistan’s medal tally by clinching the bronze medal after a strong tournament showing.
In the U15 category, national team member Adelina Khasanova advanced to the final and finished as runner-up, earning the silver medal after a spirited performance.
The awards ceremony, held on the final day of the tournament, was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, and the Table Tennis Federation, who honored the achievements of the young athletes and celebrated the successful hosting of the international competition.
