President Ilham Aliyev Extends Congratulations to President Joko Widodo on Indonesia's Independence Day

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has formally congratulated Joko Widodo, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, on the occasion of Indonesia’s national holiday, Independence Day, according to NHC.

In his letter, President Aliyev expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Widodo and the people of Indonesia. He emphasized the importance that Azerbaijan places on its relationship with Indonesia, noting the strong and friendly ties between the two nations.

“Azerbaijan places great importance on the comprehensive development of its relations with Indonesia. The strong friendly ties between our countries have opened up favorable opportunities for cooperation in various areas. We are particularly pleased with the successful implementation of the ‘ASAN khidmet’ model in your country and our active collaboration in this field,” President Aliyev stated.

President Aliyev also expressed confidence that the relationship between Azerbaijan and Indonesia will continue to grow, particularly through bilateral and multilateral platforms. He highlighted the upcoming COP29 in Baku as an example of ongoing collaboration that aligns with the interests of both nations.

“On this significant day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and continued peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Indonesia,” President Aliyev concluded.
