President of Turkmenistan arrives in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Uzbekistan on Thursday to attend the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport.
The heads of state and governments of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Türkiye will attend the event.
The 15th ECO Summit was held in Ashgabat. At the event, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized that we need to more fully use the significant potential of our countries, which have a vast market with a population of 500 million people, in trade and investment. At the same time, it was emphasized that based on the adopted program “Prospects of the Economic Cooperation Organization – 2025”, it is advisable to expand further trade, economic, and investment ties between our countries and, most importantly, achieve more significant practical results.
