President of Uzbekistan Arrives in Türkiye

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by his spouse, has arrived in Türkiye for an official visit, marking a significant step in enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.

Upon arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, President Mirziyoyev was warmly greeted by the Vice President of Türkiye, Cevdet Yılmaz, along with other distinguished officials. An honorary guard was organized to welcome the esteemed guests, underscoring the importance of the visit.

Tomorrow, the leaders of both countries will convene for the third meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. This meeting aims to deepen Uzbek-Turkish relations and advance their comprehensive strategic partnership.

During the negotiations, a thorough discussion is anticipated on the broadening of cooperation across various sectors, including political, trade, economic, investment, transportation, communication, educational, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. These discussions are expected to pave the way for strengthened ties and mutual growth.

As part of the visit’s program, a joint meeting with leaders of leading enterprises and companies from both countries is also scheduled. This inaugural meeting aims to foster direct dialogue and collaboration between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Türkiye, further cementing the economic partnership between the two nations.
