Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Jeddah on Friday, focusing on key regional and international developments, including the evolving situation in the Middle East and the ongoing Ukraine crisis.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, exploring avenues to expand cooperation and strengthen ties across multiple sectors.

President Zelenskyy described the discussions as “highly productive,” noting in a post on X that Ukraine is working toward finalizing a comprehensive agreement with Saudi Arabia encompassing security, energy, and food cooperation.

The high-level meeting was attended on the Saudi side by Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, and Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Adviser Musaed Al-Aiban.

Representing Ukraine were Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Andrii Hnatov.
