Shavkat Mirziyoyev, El-Sisi exchange warm congratulations on Eid Al-Adha
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Today, during a telephone conversation, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, exchanged warm congratulations on the holy holiday of Qurban Hayit – Eid al-Adha. Sincere wishes of peace, well-being, and prosperity to the friendly peoples of Uzbekistan and Egypt were expressed.
Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the official high-level visit to Cairo in February this year.
It was emphasized that the collaboration between Uzbekistan and Egypt is filled with concrete content due to regular and productive contact.
The issues of taking effective measures to increase trade volume and promote joint investment projects and industrial cooperation programs with the participation of leading companies of the two countries were considered.
Uzbekistan and Egypt leaders also called for further cultural and humanitarian exchange intensification.
Current issues on the international and regional agenda were discussed.
