Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Saudi Arabia on July 18

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Jeddah on July 18-19 this year to attend the First Summit of Heads of State in “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf” format.

The upcoming high-level meeting provides for the participation of the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as the Secretary General of the Council.

In accordance with the agenda, issues of developing interregional cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres will be considered. Views will be exchanged on the current aspects of international and regional politics.

Several bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the summit.
