Tashkent to host 28th International Tourism Fair TITF-2023

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On 15-17 November, Tashkent will host the 28th International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2023).

TITF will become the most significant information event that promotes tourism products and establishes business contacts and cooperation ties. The fair, which has been held since 1995 with the support of the UNWTO, annually brings together hundreds of tourism industry professionals and creates the best conditions for the development of the industry at the international level.

Last year, after a 2-year pause, for the first time in its history, TITF was organized based on a public-private partnership without attracting budgetary funds. Representatives of 300 companies participated in the event, and about 7 thousand contracts were signed. Over three days, the fair was visited by more than 11,000 people.

It is expected that this year, the fair will bring together tourism business experts from all over the world and will significantly benefit leading tourism and transport companies, large hotel chains, the diplomatic corps, and tourism educational institutions. National stands of France, the Czech Republic, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, India, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and China will be organized. Among those who expressed a desire to participate are representatives of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia, the National Tourism Administration of the Czech Republic, the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Tourist Development Corporation of Malaysia, regional tourism committees from Russia and National Association of Travel Agents of Singapore.

The event will include an international forum, B2B meetings, presentations of regions of Uzbekistan with tourism potential, and masterclasses from domestic and international chefs. It is expected that the forum will be attended by up to 15 thousand local residents and guests from the CIS countries, Asia, and Europe.

During the fair, everyone can get acquainted with tourist destinations, cultures, and traditions of different countries and evaluate the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
