Turkmen Ambassador Meets Pakistan’s Economic Affairs Secretary to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On February 24, 2026 the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, A. Movlamov, visited Pakistan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, where he held a meeting with Muhammad Humair Karim, Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of Turkmen-Pakistani trade and economic relations and discussed prospects for further expanding bilateral cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening collaboration in the fields of energy, transport, and transit connectivity.

The discussions also covered the promotion and implementation of joint regional infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing economic integration and facilitating trade flows across the region. Both parties recognized the strategic importance of connectivity initiatives in supporting sustainable development and regional prosperity.

Reaffirming their shared commitment to deepening bilateral partnership, both sides expressed readiness to continue close coordination and cooperation in advancing joint projects, reflecting the growing momentum in Turkmenistan-Pakistan economic relations.
