UAE President Receives Call from Kenyan President to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), received a telephone call today from His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya.
The call was an opportunity for both leaders to discuss ways to further strengthen the bilateral relations between their nations and to explore promising opportunities for enhanced cooperation in various fields. The focus of their discussion was on investment and development, aiming to serve the mutual interests of both countries.
During the conversation, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and President Ruto reviewed the progress made in key areas of cooperation, including the economy, investment, renewable energy, technology, and digital infrastructure. The objective of this cooperation is to contribute to sustainable economic prosperity and fulfill the future aspirations of their respective peoples.
The leaders also exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest, reflecting the depth and breadth of their countries’ engagement.
In February, the UAE and Kenya had announced the successful completion of talks on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). This agreement, set to be formally signed at a later date, aims to build on the growing economic and trade momentum between the two nations and to create new avenues for economic collaboration.
