Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: A Gastronomic Fair is organized as part of the Third International Bakhshi Art Festival on Alisher Navoi Street, adjacent to the Gulistan Park of Culture and Recreation.

Here, skilled chefs from the country’s regions are demonstrating the process of preparing traditional dishes of their regions. Exhibitors have the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the methods of cooking Samarkand bread, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya tandoor kebabs, Andijan pilaf, and many other dishes, but also enjoy their excellent taste.

The world and national cuisine dishes presented at the fair demonstrate the culinary skills of our people and testify that the art of cooking various dishes has been highly developed in the region since ancient times.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov, and Hokim of Syrdarya region Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev also took part in the opening ceremony of the event.
