Uzbekistan to Establish Electric Scooter Production Factory

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan is set to establish a factory for the production of electric scooters in the Yangiyul district of the Tashkent region. The project will be undertaken by the Uzbek-Chinese company Ecomoto.

A memorandum of cooperation for this initiative was signed between the Yangiyul district administration and foreign investors, marking a significant step towards the development of sustainable transportation in the region. The total investment for the project amounts to US$10 million.

Production at the new factory is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2025. This venture is anticipated to bolster the local economy, create jobs, and promote the use of environmentally friendly transportation solutions in Uzbekistan.
