41st Session of National Assembly Standing Committee to Review Key Laws and Policies
Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: The 41st session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee is set to commence on Monday, spanning 1.5 days. Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn will deliver the opening remarks and co-chair the proceedings with the vice chairmen.
According to the NA Office, this session will focus on reviewing and revising multiple draft laws, including:
- The law on digital technology industry.
- The amended law on employment.
- Amendments to the law on advertising.
- Revisions to the law on standards and technical regulations.
Additionally, the committee will consider and adopt resolutions regarding voter meetings with deputies and democratic practices within NA and People’s Council operations.
The agenda also includes reviewing the NA’s December 2024 report on public aspirations and contributing to thematic oversight on the implementation of environmental protection policies since the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection.
Finally, discussions on preparations for the 9th extraordinary session of the 15th NA will conclude the session.
