Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: Five civilians, including a child, lost their lives in overnight Israeli airstrikes and shelling in northern and southern Gaza, according to local sources.

In the southern Gaza town of Abasan al-Kabira, located in Khan Younis, Israeli aircraft targeted a residential house belonging to the Abu Daqqa family. The attack resulted in the deaths of three individuals, while several others sustained injuries and were subsequently transported to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, in northern Gaza, Israeli forces struck a residential apartment near the al-Houja junction in the Jabalia refugee camp. This attack claimed the lives of two civilians, including a child. The incident has heightened tensions in the densely populated camp.

The violence extended to other parts of Gaza as well. Paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent responded to another airstrike in the Nusairat camp, where a house belonging to the al-Qassas family in the northeastern part of the camp was hit. The injured were rushed to al-Awda Hospital for emergency care.

Further south, seven Palestinians with severe injuries were transported to Nasser Hospital after an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the village of al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis. The situation in Gaza remains tense as medical teams continue to respond to the aftermath of the strikes.
