Israeli Airstrikes Kill 12 Palestinians Across Gaza
Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: The Israeli army has killed 12 Palestinians in a series of airstrikes across the besieged Gaza Strip, with more bodies being recovered from areas previously vacated by Israeli forces, according to Palestinian authorities.
Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense, reported that six Palestinians lost their lives in two separate Israeli airstrikes in Jabalia, northern Gaza. One of the strikes targeted a gathering of people, resulting in significant casualties.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of northwestern Gaza City, another Palestinian was killed when an Israeli airstrike hit a residential home. The area has been the focus of recent military activity, leading to heightened fears among residents.
Central Gaza also witnessed deadly airstrikes, with two Palestinians killed in attacks on a home in the Al-Maghazi camp and at a gathering in Deir al-Balah. Both incidents have added to the growing toll of casualties in the densely populated region.
In Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza, three more Palestinians were killed when an Israeli strike targeted a home in the town of Abasan al-Kabira. The area has seen increased military activity as hostilities continue to escalate.
The ongoing airstrikes have exacerbated the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where residents continue to suffer from the impacts of prolonged conflict and blockade. International observers have expressed concern over the rising death toll and the continued targeting of civilian areas.
The situation remains volatile, with further casualties expected as the conflict shows no sign of abating. The international community has called for urgent measures to protect civilians and de-escalate the violence.
