Shavkat Mirziyoyev Arrives in Ashgabat

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan has arrived in Ashgabat for a working visit. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Tangryguly Atakhalliyev, along with other government officials.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for tomorrow, October 11. President Mirziyoyev will deliver an address at the plenary session of the International Forum titled “The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development.” This forum is dedicated to celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the esteemed Turkmen poet and philosopher, Magtymguly Fragi.

In addition to his address, President Mirziyoyev is expected to engage in bilateral meetings with various officials, focusing on enhancing cooperation and mutual interests between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
