Omani and Iranian Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Security and Condemn Aggression
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation with Dr. Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday to discuss regional developments and recent Israeli actions against Iranian sites.
During the call, Sayyid Badr condemned the Israeli aggression and affirmed Oman’s stance against actions undermining the sovereignty of nations and breaching international law, which threatens regional security and stability. He emphasized the necessity of fostering dialogue and diplomatic cooperation across the region to safeguard peace and prevent further escalation.
Dr. Abbas Araghchi expressed gratitude for Oman’s supportive position and commended its diplomatic initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and harmony. He also highlighted the importance of reinforcing joint cooperation to limit conflicts and address underlying regional disputes.
