Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Meets Thai Deputy Speaker at APA Plenary Session

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Parliament, met with Paradorn Prissanananthakul, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand, who is visiting Azerbaijan to attend the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).
Speaker Gafarova highlighted the significance of the APA plenary session as a vital platform for discussing key international issues and strengthening interparliamentary dialogue among member states. She emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Thailand, noting the potential for expanded cooperation in various fields.
She further underscored the role of parliamentary diplomacy in enhancing ties between the two nations and expressed confidence that continued engagement would contribute positively to bilateral relations.
Deputy Speaker Paradorn Prissanananthakul conveyed his appreciation for Azerbaijan’s successful hosting of the APA session and shared positive impressions of the country.
The two officials also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, reinforcing their commitment to deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Thailand.
