Ashgabat to Host 24th Annual White City International Exhibition and Conference

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The 24th Annual White City Ashgabat International Exhibition and Conference will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan from May 24 to 25, 2025, bringing together over 400 delegates from 30 countries, event organizers have announced.
The prominent international event is jointly organized by the Ashgabat City Administration, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and the non-governmental organization Turkmen Energy Forum. It serves as a key platform for sharing best practices in urban development and promoting international cooperation on sustainable city planning.
More than 150 stands will be featured at the exhibition, showcasing the latest achievements and initiatives from government agencies, business leaders, academic institutions, and international organizations. Exhibitors will present advancements in smart city solutions, green technologies, and innovative infrastructure design.
The conference segment will focus on key themes such as sustainable urban development, modern urban planning solutions, digitalization, and environmental technologies. These topics reflect the growing global emphasis on making cities more livable, resilient, and inclusive.
Senior representatives from the United Nations will address the gathering. UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach is scheduled to deliver a keynote on global trends in sustainable urbanization. Additionally, UNIDO Deputy Director General Ciyong Zou will highlight ongoing collaboration with Turkmenistan, including progress on the Ashgabat City initiative.
The forum will also provide a platform for high-level discussions on international cooperation in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and incorporating green technologies into urban infrastructure.
