Erdoğan Holds Phone Conversation with Sultan of Oman on Bilateral and Regional Affairs

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman, discussing bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.

According to a statement released by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate, President Erdoğan underscored that cooperation between Türkiye and Oman continues to strengthen across all sectors. He reaffirmed Ankara’s commitment to further enhancing ties with Muscat in the period ahead.

During the conversation, President Erdoğan also conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to Sultan Haitham on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice, which will begin on Friday.

Earlier in the day, President Erdoğan also spoke with President Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of his diplomatic engagements ahead of Eid al-Adha.
