Baku, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, an Azerbaijani delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, paid a working visit to Addis Ababa.
During the visit, the delegation took part in the official inauguration of the “MESOB” service center in the Ethiopian capital. The center was established based on Azerbaijan’s internationally recognized “ASAN Khidmet” model, which has gained acclaim for modernizing and simplifying public service delivery.

The newly opened MESOB center spans eight floors and offers over 120 public services to citizens, reflecting a significant step forward in the digitalization and accessibility of public administration in Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian side expressed sincere appreciation to the Government of Azerbaijan for its continued support and technical assistance in the implementation of the ASAN Khidmet model. Officials also noted plans to expand the network of MESOB centers across the country by the end of the year.
This cooperation underscores the growing bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia and highlights Azerbaijan’s commitment to sharing its successful public service innovations with international partners.
