President of Kazakhstan arrives in Samarkand

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Samarkand to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials met President Tokayev upon arrival.

President Tokayev then visited Hazrati Hizr complex, where he laid flowers at the tomb of first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
