Avaza Hosts High-Level Turkmenistan-Qatar Meeting to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Avaza, The Gulf Observer: A high-level meeting took place in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on August 6 between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad.
During the talks, both sides engaged in a substantive exchange of views on a broad range of issues of mutual interest. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral political dialogue, fostering trade and economic cooperation, and deepening cultural and humanitarian ties.
Particular emphasis was placed on the implementation of previously reached high-level agreements, with both parties underscoring the need to activate existing mechanisms of cooperation and ensure the effective execution of signed bilateral documents. The importance of further coordination and engagement within international organizations was also highlighted.
Concluding the meeting, both delegations reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing Turkmenistan-Qatar relations based on the principles of mutual respect, trust, and strategic partnership.
