President of Turkmenistan Announces Appointment of New Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia and the UAE

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a series of decrees introducing personnel changes within the country’s diplomatic corps, the presidential press service reported.

In accordance with the decree, Orazmuhammet Atajanovich Charyyev has been relieved of his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Palestine, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, due to his transfer to another position.

Muhammetgeldi Nurberdiyevich Ayazov has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh). In connection with this appointment, he has been relieved of his previous duties as Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia (Yerevan) and the Republic of Lebanon.

Another decree relieved Serdarmammet Saparmammedovich Garajayev of his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), the Republic of Iraq, and the State of Kuwait, due to his transfer to another position.

By a separate presidential decree, Bayram Akmyradovich Bayramov was conferred the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and appointed as Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi).
