Presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, the Akorda press service reported. The two heads of state commended the progressive development of Kazakh–Tajik relations, which continue to demonstrate positive momentum across all areas of cooperation.
During the discussion, the leaders focused on future steps to enhance collaboration in the trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, reaffirming their commitment to advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
President Tokayev took the opportunity to congratulate President Rahmon on his birthday, extending his best wishes for continued success in his responsible state duties for the well-being of the fraternal Tajik people.
The Kazakh Head of State emphasized his high regard for President Rahmon’s personal contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
Both leaders also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral engagements, underscoring their shared intention to maintain active dialogue and cooperation at the highest level.
