Pakistani Author Muhammad Ali Pasha Visits Almaty National Library to Strengthen Cultural and Literary Ties

Almaty, The Gulf Observer: On October 08, 2025, renowned Pakistani author and poet Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha visited the Almaty National Library of Kazakhstan and its various branches, accompanied by Ms. Saltanat, an official from the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Adil Mazhitov, Deputy Director for the Development of the Almaty Library, warmly received Mr. Pasha and briefed him on the library’s operations and services. The library staff provided a detailed overview of the facilities available to the public, including innovative services such as library extensions at Almaty’s metro stations.
It was highlighted that 28 libraries operate across Almaty city, offering citizens easy access to educational and cultural resources. The library’s integrated management system ensures user-friendly access to book issuance and other services. Additionally, the scanning facilities have made a significant contribution to digitizing books, making them available online for readers.
During his visit, Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha also explored the Pakistan Corner at the National Library, reflecting the growing cultural and literary collaboration between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
