Iranian Ambassador H.E. Reza Amiri Moghadam Condemns Terrorist Attack in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Islamabad that occurred during Friday prayers, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of innocent civilians.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Government and the people of Iran, Ambassador Moghadam described the incident as a “hideous and abhorrent” act of terrorism. He extended his sincere and deepest condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of Pakistan, with special emphasis on the bereaved families who lost their loved ones.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have suffered this tragic loss, and we pray for the safe and speedy recovery of the injured,” the ambassador said.

He further prayed that Allah Almighty grant His mercy and blessings to the martyrs and reward them with eternal peace in Jannat-ul-Firdous, reaffirming Iran’s solidarity with Pakistan in the face of terrorism and violence.
