U.S. Vice President JD Vance Hosts UAE Minister Dr. Sultan Al Jaber at White House

Washington, The Gulf Observer: JD Vance on Wednesday received Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, at the White House in Washington, D.C.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Jaber conveyed greetings from the UAE leadership and emphasized the strength and depth of the longstanding bilateral relationship between the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
“It was good to re-connect with Vice President Vance at this critical moment,” Dr. Al Jaber said, highlighting the importance of continued dialogue on pressing global issues.
The two sides discussed key matters related to global energy dynamics, underscoring that energy security remains intrinsically linked to global security. Dr. Al Jaber stressed that restoring the free passage of energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz is essential for stabilizing global markets.
Both leaders also reaffirmed the robust and expanding UAE–U.S. partnership across a wide range of sectors, including security, trade, investment, technology, energy, healthcare, and education.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of both nations to enhancing cooperation and addressing global challenges through sustained engagement and strategic collaboration.
