Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned and denounced the attack targeting a camp as well as a power production and water desalination plant in the State of Kuwait.

In a statement issued on Monday, Omani Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the Sultanate’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its unwavering support for all measures undertaken to safeguard its security, territorial sovereignty, and national assets.

The statement urged all parties involved to immediately cease hostilities and move towards a comprehensive halt to the ongoing conflict, stressing the urgent need to end escalation, particularly actions targeting civilian populations and critical infrastructure.

Oman underscored that attacks on civilians and vital facilities represent a clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law, calling on the international community to uphold these principles.
