Uzbekistan’s Foreign Trade Turnover Reaches $11.6 Billion in January–February, Up 7.1%

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan recorded a foreign trade turnover of $11.6 billion during January–February 2026, marking an increase of $767.4 million, or 7.1 percent, compared to the same period last year, according to official data.

Exports accounted for $3.5 billion of the total trade volume, while imports stood at $8.1 billion, reflecting the country’s ongoing engagement in international trade and economic integration.

During the reporting period, Uzbekistan maintained trade relations with 160 countries, highlighting its expanding global economic outreach.

In terms of key trading partners, China held the largest share of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover at 27.5 percent, followed by Russia with 18.3 percent. Other significant partners included Kazakhstan (7.2 percent), Türkiye (3.6 percent), and South Korea (2.7 percent).

The data reflects Uzbekistan’s continued efforts to diversify its trade partnerships while strengthening economic ties with major regional and global economies.
