Moroccan, Spanish Management Associations Sign Cooperation Agreement to Boost Academic Research

Agreement

Agadir, The Gulf Observer: The Moroccan Association of Management (AMG) and Spain’s Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management (ACEDE) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening academic and scientific collaboration between researchers, academics, and doctoral students in the field of management sciences.

The agreement was signed in Santander, northern Spain, on the sidelines of ACEDE’s 35th Annual Congress, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Management of Cantabria.

According to AMG, the partnership seeks to promote scientific exchanges, develop collaborative research projects, encourage joint participation in academic events, and strengthen ties between researchers, teacher-researchers, and doctoral students from Morocco and Spain.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of several international scientific organizations, including the Italian Association of Management (SIMA), the British Academy of Management (BAM), and the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), of which both AMG and ACEDE are members.

AMG stated that the agreement is the outcome of sustained efforts launched last year with the support of IFSAM members and its advisory council, whose contributions were described as instrumental in facilitating the partnership.

Under the agreement, both associations will work to expand opportunities for Moroccan and Spanish researchers to participate in international conferences and scientific symposiums, foster joint research initiatives, and promote publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.

The framework also places special emphasis on supporting doctoral candidates and early-career academics by facilitating their integration into international academic networks and enhancing opportunities for professional and scientific development.

AMG described the agreement as a significant milestone in strengthening its international presence and consolidating its role within global academic and research networks.

The association added that the partnership will facilitate the exchange of expertise and researchers while creating broader opportunities for cooperation in scientific research and publication. Both organizations expressed confidence that the agreement will establish a sustainable and constructive framework for academic cooperation, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and opening new opportunities for researchers and professionals in management sciences across Morocco and Spain.
