UAE President, Slovak Prime Minister Discuss Expanding Economic and Strategic Cooperation
Bratislava, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Slovak Prime Minister His Excellency Robert Fico held talks in Bratislava on Wednesday, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key strategic sectors.
The meeting took place during Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s working visit to the Slovak Republic and focused on enhancing collaboration in the fields of economy, development, renewable energy, and advanced technologies to serve the mutual interests of both nations.
The two leaders underscored their shared determination to deepen bilateral ties and establish long-term economic and development partnerships that would deliver lasting benefits to the peoples of the United Arab Emirates and Slovakia.
They also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern, with particular emphasis on the latest developments in the Middle East. Both sides stressed the importance of reinforcing the foundations of regional security and stability while advancing efforts to achieve a lasting peace that contributes to the prosperity and security of the wider region.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, along with several UAE ministers and senior officials. Senior Slovak ministers and government officials also participated in the discussions.
At the conclusion of his working visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan departed Slovakia, where he was seen off at the airport by Prime Minister Robert Fico and a number of senior Slovak officials.
