President Tokayev Congratulates Kazakh Athletes on World Nomad Games Success

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Kazakhstan’s national team on its strong performance at the 6th World Nomad Games, praising the athletes for their dedication, hard work and determination.

According to Presidential Adviser and Press Secretary Aibek Smadiyarov, President Tokayev expressed his gratitude to the country’s champions and medalists, as well as their coaches and all specialists whose efforts contributed to the team’s success.

The President noted that the athletes’ achievements have helped strengthen Kazakhstan’s international standing as a country where traditional and national sports are actively promoted.

President Tokayev wished the Kazakh athletes continued success and new achievements at major international sporting events.

Kazakhstan finished first in the overall medal standings at the 6th World Nomad Games, securing 74 medals, including 32 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze medals.

The 6th World Nomad Games brought together athletes from 104 countries and featured competitions in traditional nomadic sports, including horseback archery, wrestling and traditional board games.
