Putin, Aliyev Discuss Bilateral Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Monday, during which the two leaders discussed key issues concerning bilateral cooperation.

According to the Russian side, the presidents exchanged views on a range of topical matters related to economic, trade and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, Putin and Aliyev agreed to further intensify bilateral relations and strengthen engagement at various levels.

The telephone conversation underscored the two countries’ commitment to maintaining active political dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation across areas of common interest.
