Nawaz Sharif dismisses backdoor contacts with Imran Khan
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif contacted the party leaders and rejected the rumours about his backdoor links with PTI chairman Imran Khan.
According to sources in the PML-N, Nawaz Sharif said that the general elections will be held on the stipulated time. “The coalition government will provide the relief to the masses at all costs,” he was quoted as saying.
Nawaz Sharif, according to sources, has rejected the explanation of the party leaders regarding the defeat in the by-elections.
Nawaz Sharif also deliberated on forming an interim set-up of the PML-N till return of Nawaz Sharif to the homeland. A key responsibility will be assigned to Maryam Nawaz. According to sources, the interim set-up will have the power to deal with the all matters and decision-making on key matters.
