Qatar: Central Municipal Council elections to be held on June 22

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. (28) of 2023 specifying the date for the election of members of the Central Municipal Council, which will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

The decree called on citizens who hold the right to vote and whose names are registered in the voter registration lists to cast votes in their constituencies.

The decree is effective from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
