UAE President Offers Condolences to Qatar’s Emir Over Passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

Doha, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday offered his heartfelt condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

During a visit to Lusail Palace in Doha, Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his deepest sympathies to the Emir, the Al Thani family, and the people of Qatar. He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and for strength and comfort for his family and loved ones during this time of mourning.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed his sincere appreciation to the UAE President for his compassionate and fraternal condolences, highlighting the strong bonds and close relations between the two brotherly nations.

Accompanying the UAE President was a high-level delegation that included His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, along with several ministers and senior UAE officials.

The visit underscored the close ties between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support shared by the leadership and peoples of the two Gulf nations during times of bereavement.
