Uzbek citizens in Pakistan fully support New Uzbekistan
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The nation-wide polling for the Constitutional Referendum took place in Uzbekistan on Sunday. The eligible voters came out in exceptional number to poll their votes. Long ques of the voters at every polling station could be witnessed at every polling station. Uzbek nationals living in other countries also avail the facility.
As far as the Pakistan is concerned voting at Uzbekistan Embassy in Islamabad started at 08:00 a.m on Sunday with the playing of Uzbekistan’s national anthem. More than hundred voters were registered in Karachi, Lahore, Abbottabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Murree and Islamabad. All of them used their voting right comfortably as the Embassy under the command of H.E. Mr. Oybek Arif Usmanov undertook excellent arrangements.
It merits to mention here that all the compatriots were in high spirits to vote in the referendum which in turn will surely accelerate country’s development and prosperity.
According to the results, Uzbek citizens in Pakistan fully supported New Uzbekistan and New Constitution.
