President of Turkmenistan receives newly appointed Ambassador of South Korea

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Turkmenistan Ji Kyu-Taek on Monday.

The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for the time and conveyed warm greetings from President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea, who extended his best wishes to the Turkmen people, the official Turkmen media reported.

The Turkmen President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible diplomatic post and wished him success in the mission for the further development of the Turkmen-Korean dialogue.

During the meeting, the sides underscored the dynamic nature of the interstate partnership both bilaterally and within the framework of authoritative international organizations, first and foremost the United Nations. The parties noted that the established productive contacts within the Central Asia-South Korea Cooperation Forum are an example of a successful dialogue in the multilateral format.

President Berdimuhamedov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ji Kyu-Taek expressed confidence that the traditionally friendly interstate dialogue would continue to successfully develop along its full range.
