President Tokayev Commences Diplomatic Mission with Official Visit to Italy

Rome, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has formally arrived in Italy for an official visit, according to reports of  Akorda press service.

At the airport, the Kazakh leader was greeted by Minister of Defense of Italy, Guido Crosetto, and the representative of Pope Francesco, Canalini.

On January 18, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled to engage in discussions with the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Simultaneously, the Head of State will actively partake in the Kazakhstan-Italy Investment Roundtable Meeting on the same day. Additionally, a series of meetings are scheduled for President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with the top executives of prominent Italian companies, fostering a platform for constructive dialogues aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties and collaboration.

On January 19, President Tokayev will have an audience with Pope Francis in the Vatican.
