AUS Strengthens Global Ties with AGH University of Krakow, Poland

Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: The American University of Sharjah (AUS) has elevated its commitment to global collaboration in education and research by formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AGH University of Krakow, Poland. The agreement was signed by Dr. Tod Laursen, Chancellor of AUS, and Professor Jerzy Lis, Rector of AGH University.

Under the terms of the MoU, both universities pledge to exchange educational experiences and teaching methodologies, facilitate the exchange of students and faculty, engage in collaborative educational projects, organize academic events, participate in entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives, and collaboratively develop dual and/or joint degree programs.

Chancellor Laursen expressed the significance of this partnership, stating, “This collaboration reinforces the quality of our academic programs, enabling both institutions to offer a more comprehensive and globally applicable education. Placing our students’ interests at the forefront, this collaboration enhances the educational experience by sharing international resources. Moreover, it accelerates scientific advancements through collaborative research initiatives among faculty members.”
