Sri Lankan PM to Deliver Keynote Address at Bhutan Food Systems Summit

Colombo, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya departed Sri Lanka today on an official visit to Bhutan, where she is scheduled to participate in the Global Conscious Food Systems Summit.
The summit is to be held in Bhutan, with the Prime Minister set to take part in the opening plenary tomorrow, September 1.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, she will deliver a keynote address under the theme “Rising to the Moment: Igniting Consciousness to Address the Polycrisis.”
During her visit, the Prime Minister is also expected to hold discussions with international leaders and representatives on strengthening cooperation in sustainable food systems, food security and the development of resilient communities.
