Azerbaijan and Romania Set to Initiate Direct Flights
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Following the 8th meeting of the Joint Commission on trade-economic relations and scientific-technical cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Romania, Sebastian Ioan Burduja, the Minister of Energy of Romania, highlighted the potential benefits of establishing direct flights between the two countries.
During a briefing held after the meeting, Minister Burduja emphasized the importance of enhancing business relations through improved connectivity. He stated, “Along with connecting peoples, the establishment of direct flights between Romania and Azerbaijan will give impetus to the development of business relations.”
Expressing anticipation for the opening of direct flights, Minister Burduja underscored the multifaceted advantages it would offer. He elaborated, “In addition to connecting our peoples, this will also connect the investors and the private sector, and will ensure the complete assessment of the cooperation.”
The Minister’s remarks signify a shared commitment between Romania and Azerbaijan to deepen economic ties and promote bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
