Abu Dhabi to Host 2025 International Jazz Day, Celebrating Cultural Fusion

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Every year on 30 April, International Jazz Day resonates globally as a celebration of artistic freedom. In a partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the event will spotlight Abu Dhabi’s rich cultural tapestry, weaving together Arab and Emirati heritage. According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), the celebration will introduce audiences worldwide to the enchanting blend of ‘Arabic Jazz’, incorporating classical instruments like Oud, Qanoon, and Ney.

As the designated Global Host City for 2025 and UNESCO Creative City of Music, Abu Dhabi will showcase the harmonious convergence of local musical traditions with Jazz influences dating back decades. This event promises to be a vibrant testament to cultural diversity and musical innovation on the international stage.
